Kilo Grill Barbecue Restaurant – Publika

A short chat with Victor, owner of Kilo Grill during the launch provided some insights to this latest grilling buzz in town.
Fully aware that the Publika area and its 10km vicinity are plagued with unimaginative Korean BBQ or Japanese grills, Victor and his partners has decided to introduce a new grilling experience to Klang Valley.
Like many young, ambitious and well traveled urbanites, Victor’s travels took him to many countries. Spoiled with choices and having had cultivate a sensitive (some say fussy but we foodies like to think of it as a well trained) palate he realized that the grilling experience can be much, much more than the typical Korean/BBQ grills.

When Blogging Becomes a Slog – it’s WORK too you know…

This article is so so true.

As I read this I found myself nodding my head and sighing in agreement.
I have asked myself too “why” many times, and I have come to a realisation that heck, I can’t writing cos I love writing but I can’t write just cos I HAVE TO anymore.

In fact lately I’m been writing about other stuff other than eating out and food.
Because I have changed. My lifestyle has changed.

I’ve stopped attending 2-3 events each day. Because the events don’t interest me anymore. Because events nowadays are getting to be a bore.
They don’t excite, most are barely worth writing about while some invited a whole she-bang of “media”; relevant or otherwise and you wonder what are you doing there – to add into the headcount just so the event looks well-attended?

Here’s the article that I read from NY Times:
Just in case you can’t access the whole article online (NYT are by subscription) , you can read it all down here.

Low Carb High Fat (Ketogenic diet) : Meal Delivery in KL

I’ve been busy lately. So much so that I haven’t been able to update my blog as much as I would like to.
Lately I’ve ran out of things to blog about too. That’s not quite possible actually, but due to the lack of time I haven’t been able to put things (my mind) together to string proper sentences. Sigh.

Lunch: Cape Mentelle Degustation Cameron Murphy, Estate Director @ Tanzini GTower

The last I sat down and sipped Cape Mentelle wines was when Robert Mann, Estate Director of Cape Mentelle, one of pioneers of Australian winemaking and Kate Lamont, West Australian Chef and Ambassador visited Malaysia in 2012.
