It was timely that after a week long of F1 events and hot days at Sepang that I sat down and ate a nourishing meal like this.

This soup, double boiled for 4 hours using the chinese “Black Chicken” (a breed named Silkies and prized by the Chinese for its perceived medicinal value) was wonderful and soothing to the soul.

HTC One Launch in Pavilion KL, Malaysia

The HTC One WORLDWIDE launch was today, at Pavilion KL and moi was there to assess if the whole brouhaha about the HTC One was justified.

Yes I’m sceptical and you can’t blame me. I have been to almost all gadgets launches lately and had reviewed most of them. None has made me lost any sleep nor has it made me felt that I need to own it..

The HTC One was something else. To me, I see it as HTC has finally bounced back with a winner device.

Panasonic Malaysia 2012 Lumix Line-Up Launch

Panasonic Malaysia launched their 2012 Lumix line-up (ALL 14 compact cameras and 9 camcorders!) in ONE launch just weeks back.
The set-up was impressive, starting off with an opening dance ala Burlesque followed by a fashion show ala Victoria Secret.

Sweet Chills Malaysia – another froyo option

Other than burgers, breads and cakes, another item I blogged consistently about is frozen yogurt, or froyo, as it’s more popularly known.

Moo Cow is one of my default choice when the craving strikes, but with the many new options and outlets popping up, I try to sample each and everyone of them for comparison.

Just today I had the chance to sample Sweet Chills; as I was in Berjaya Times Square (a place I avoid under normal circumstances) for a meeting.

PC.com Readers Choice Awards 2011 – Results and Winners

PC.com held it’s annual brand awards night yesterday and this year it’s called the Readers Choice Awards.
Basically a few months ago PC.com held a mass survey asking their readers to vote for their best tech brands; yesterday was the award giving ceremony.
