The biggest Crocs concept store in Malaysia opened yesterday at Midvalley Megamall yesterday.
This store is actually the renovated and revamped store of its previous outlet. Now, Crocs Mid Valley proudly boast of over 1,700sq ft in retail space and is officially the biggest Crocs store in SEA.

Brotzeit opened with a bang on its 1st day yesterday.
And I’m not the only one who thinks it’s GOOD ok! Here are some people who went to try the food during dinner..
For me, I happened to be in Mid Valley for a meeting during lunch & was given the opportunity to sample some of their signature dishes, thanks to Leonard Foong & the outlet manager Mr Mohan. 😉
What can be better on a hot afternoon than a glass of super cool & smooth Paulaner yea? :yes:

I have not expected anything less than stellar food here at Lafite. Else I won’t be so readily forking out that amount of cash for their MIGF menu. At the end of dinner, strutting out of the posh restaurant, I’m delighted to report that it was moolah well spent. Kudos to the Chef for the gorgeous presentation that matches the excellent food.
Lafite cuisine is mainly European and their extensive range of international wines are carefully chosen to match with the menu.

Wine for Asia will be returning for its 8th edition on 28-29th Oct 2010 in Singapore, right at the most happening place in Singapore at the moment – the Marina Bay Sands. Over 2 days, highlights of the event includes the 1st Asian Riesling Forum, 1st Landmark Australia Master Tutorial, 1st Asia Grand Bordeaux Trio Seminar and Wine Style Asia Awards & Gala Dinner.

I got to know about this place from a reader, many thanks to her for leaving a comment & attaching the FB link in one of my post; or else I wouldn’t have known about this Uncle Ben Burger Babi.
I admit I was a bit put off by the name at first; well… I mean using the word “babi” so literally! It sounded rude somehow?
But let’s ignore that for now & focus on the food instead..
When I visited the FB page, I was immediately fascinated, for it was declared on the side bar:
“We’ll defy anyone to find a better meal than ours! Our meal is a perfectly balanced ensemble of 100% PREMIUM PORK patty, cooked to perfection, with oozing MELTED CHEESE and served with fine cuts of VEGETABLES. All wrapped up in a hot toasted bun.”
Wow! That’s like Uncle Ben calling out my name -” becky becky, come try my porky patty! ” Heh!
The opportunity came rather unexpected yesterday when a certain event left all of us hungry enough to eat a pig, literally. And luckily for us, Uncle Ben Burger Babi opened their 2nd outlet (stall) in Ming Tien Food Court yesterday as well! A good sign; I thought.
I’m always appreciative of budget hotels; simply cos they provide, what else.. the most cost effective method for lodging while I splurge my hard earned cash on shopping! 😉
Though I do not have high criteria for budget hotels, knowing that it is budget and all, I do expect at the very least, SAFETY & CLEANLINESS.
My accommodation in Singapore was pretty cool – Prince of  Wales Backpackers’ Hostel was clean, conveniently located & affordable.
And I was most pleased to say the same for Leisure Inn, after I viewed their rooms during the launch just days ago.
