The current desserts fad; or more specifically ice-based desserts is insane.
Though I’m not a fan of the “mango lolo ” , snow ice or taiwanese desserts like Snowflakes, I find myself unable to avoid it, especially so when you’re out with friends, for it has been become a routine (almost like a yumcha culture now), to head to Snowflakes for the after-meal chat.

Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie, The real STONE OVEN bakery in KL!
It’s been a while since I was here – my last post dated May 2010 – HERE so I didn’t know what to expect. It had remained an insanely popular place since it’s opening, and from general feedback, I was informed that the quality of breads has since deteriorated, service is bad, it’s packed to the rafters everyday, etc etc.
Hence I had avoided a re-visit; til just a few days back, when a bunch of us decided that we would like to brunch out on BREADS on the 2nd day of Raya.

Day 7: Peninsula Hot Springs @Mornington Peninsular – Victoria, Australia
Peninsula Hot Springs is the first natural hot springs & day spa centre in Victoria; around 1.5Hrs from Melbourne. Natural thermal mineral waters flow into the pools & private baths, providing the idyllic setting for relaxation and rejuvenation.
I was here on the 7th day of my Aussie adventure, and trust me, by then I truly needed a soak plus pampering time. As I have mentioned before, the trip was fun yes, but incredibly tiring due the the packed schedule.

Day 7: Dining @ The Colonial Tramcar Restaurant – Melbourne, Australia
Since Malaysia was on holidays the past week, my mind was in the clouds as well. I ended up reminiscing my Aussie trip, and at the same time wondering when’s my next one will be, as I have been exploring within Malaysia lately, but haven’t been out of the country.
Well, it’s a period of change for me now, so a trip out of Malaysia may not be so soon. However, I have sweet memories to hang on to & while I looked through my Aussie pics (trust me, there are tons of them!); a particular one stood out. It was an experience like no other, and I giggled to myself when I tried to imagine myself dining on our Malaysia’s LRT trains.
LOL, not knowing what I’m taking about? Thinking I have gone bonkers?

Sony Alpha Launch 2011 – DSLR A77 & A65 and the all new Nex-5N & Nex 7!
Just last week invited medias were privileged to have the first hand touch & review of the new camera models – the SLR model A77 & A65, Nex new generation Nex-7 and Nex-5N & the Sony Handycam NEX-VG20E. This was in conjunction with the Global Sony Alpha Launch 2011.
Malaysian media turned up in full force, and Sony Malaysia, as expected pulled together an impressive event with Parkour Malaysia launch gambit (which I was very enraptured with as I love such acrobatic acts), a classy + spacious venue (it was held in The Gardens Grand Ballroom), informative session by a professional photographer on the functions of the Sony cameras, hands-on session with the newly launched camera (yes, I got to play with the Nex7 & the the new Handycam NEX-VG20E (not that I’m much of a videographer anyway)!! & followed lastly by a “buka puasa” dinner at the 29th floor of the Gardens Hotel.

The Sony Handycam NEX-VG20E. I have been fascinated with videography lately, and been on the lookout for a compact, light but powerful camcorder that works well under low lights (of which this VG20E is obviously not, other than the “powerful” & “low light capability” part, LOL) but this little monster insinuate very powerful video recording capabilities and all my videographer friends were already asking me for the specs, price & availability date.

Bizzy Body Malaysia, The Slimming Expert – Preso Therapy & Slimming Therapy
I get comments like “How do you eat so much & stay slim?” everyday, at every meal with almost anyone.
My usual answer is simple – controlled portions, eat only when I’m hungry, less intake at night & burn what you put in, so meaning exercise!
However, I’m not without faults (or rather faults I see in myself), though most people tell me otherwise. I would like to have spot reduction done on some areas if possible, & luckily enough for me, the opportunity presented itself when I was contacted by Bizzy Body Malaysia for a Bloggers’ Day Out at their Sunway Pyramid outlet.
