Here are all the participating restaurants in Savour 2013 this year. I didn’t manage to try all dishes (I said this before and I’m saying it again – earning Malaysian Ringgit sucks!) but I was lucky that I had friends sharing with me during the first evening and last day on Saturday or else I would may have tasted even less of the dishes here!

Greetings from Singapore again! 🙂

I have just landed from Korea yesterday where the climate was at 8 celcius daily to now in Singapore with the heat at 32 celcius. I’m not sure if I prefer the chill or the heat at the moment! LOL.

I’m in town for the World Gourmet Summit 2013, and this is the last part of the event since it had kicked off last week. I hope to catch some great dinners and events and you’ll be sure to hear about it from me here! 🙂

As you know I was in Singapore just before Korea for Savour 2013. For those unfamiliar with what’s Savour Singapore is about, do run through my “guide” HERE. On the opening night for Savour 2013, Nespresso, the Presenting Partner and Official Coffee for Savour 2013 launched 2 latest limited edition coffees inspired by 2 unique Italian cities.

Recently I met the hand-picked chef for the latest Hennessy X.O Appreciation Grows dinner and I came away impressed. I’m pretty certain Chef Lee Anne Wong’s menu for this Hennessy X.O Appreciation Grows dinner will wow many.

Her behind-the-camera experiences from all her previous TV shows and her participation in countless contests and events are apparent. The moment she steps up to the kitchen stove and opened her mouth, she had the crowd’s hanging on her every word.

Weeks back I attended the Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani Eyewear 2013 Collection Launch.

This particular launch was more significant as it also marks the appointment of a new distributor for Giorgio Armani & Emporio Armani eyewear in Malaysia – Sima Marketing Sdn Bhd.

I’m in Club Med for the Special ‘Body and Soul: Four Colors in Four Days’ event in March 2013. Body & Soul is a health and wellness retreat designed to boost wellbeing and overall health through a series of activities on 4 color-themed days per session.

People’s Square, Madame Tussauds and Huangpu River Cruise in Shanghai

After the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and lunch we headed over to Shanghai People’s Square which is located at the very center of Shanghai and was the demarcation point of East Nanjing Road and West Nanjing Road. The key phrase here is “Nanjing Road”; as this area is very popular for shopping!
But more on that later while I bore you with some essential facts about People’s Square. 🙂

** Facts taken from the WWW – This area was once the racecourse regarded as the ‘No.1 racecourse Far East’ but was destroyed later.
In 1949, the People’s Avenue was built across the center of the area with the People’s Park built on the north side and the People’s Square on the south part. By the end of 1993, through a comprehensive reconstruction, it covered an area about 140,000 square meters and has become the largest public square of the city.
