I had the privilege of interviewing Sharone Hakman when he came to Malaysia last week as part of his recent promotion tour. Out of all the chefs I have had interviewed, met and chatted with in my blogging life and as a foodie, the one thing that struck me hard about Sharone was his genuinity. That big guy is thoroughly REAL, and I could catch no pretenses from him throughout the duration of the half a day I spent trolling him from the interview room to the supermarket and till he finished his cooking demo on stage at Mid Valley.

Hennessy Artistry was the place to be on Saturday night. The second installment of 2012’s Global Art of Mixing Trilogy promised a night of fist-pumping dance music, delicious drinks and an exciting crowd. And boy, Hennessy do know how to throw a party 😉

Before the party-goers headed into the main room, they had a chance to experience the super-cool Hennessy 360 Cam (and have their 5 minutes of fame).

Hello party people!

Hennessy Artistry is back! This time it’s going to be held at Kenanga Wholesale City (KWC) on 8 September 2012. It’s gonna be a night of pumping energy and block-rocking beats to elevate the senses!

Hot off raising the roof in Penang at the Straits Quay Convention Centre this June, H-Artistry returns to the heart of Kuala Lumpur for the second instalment of 2012’s Global Art of Mixing Trilogy.

Here’s Hennessy X.O KL Travelogue with Chef Edward Lee – Ep. 1 of 4, provided by PR 3 weeks back.

One of the most celebrated gastronomic events of the year is the Hennessy X.O Appreciation Grows dinner series, which was meticulously orchestrated by Chef Edward Lee last 18-21 April 2012.

As a foodie, events like this gets me all giddy with excitement; mostly in anticipation of the menu, where diners’ palates are bound to be teased and thrilled.

It’s been 8 months of 2012! We are now in August, and almost at the end of it too. Time sure flies.

As I sat here staring at my calendar working out m schedule for work and travel for the rest of the year, I realized I haven’t shared about my personalised calendar from Intel Malaysia 🙂

Every year I would sit in some of the Midsummer Nights Feast dinners. This year, most of the dinners are closed affairs, and Chef Hom and Chef Johann’s was the very few that I had the good fortune to dine in. I was truly disappointed with Chef Ken Hom’s session and had hoped hard that Chef Johann Lafer won’t be of a similar letdown.

After a rather dramatic start to my weekend in Sg (hhmm.. I always seem to have some drama happening to me during my trips, such as the fright I had on my first day in Paris), I arrived safely albeit slightly late and SGD30 poorer at the Landmark Village Hotel in the Arab quarter in Singapore city.
