After contemplating over about 45 cafes in Singapore, we settled for Social on Club Street for our Sunday brunch.
I can’t say we made the best choice, for breakfast was insipid at best, though service was warm and chirpy.

There are some really great finds here at Astaka Taman Tun Sardon. I’m not talking about just nasi lemak, roti canai, sup bihun; though that was all available in abundance, and much much tastier than any versions you’ll get elsewhere.

Nearby Queensbay Mall and Gold Coast Condominium this “ikan bakar” business has flourished from mere stalls to a large food court. There are only 3 main proprietors; Seri Pantai, Hammer Bay and Anggerik Biru.
Parking is at the open air carpark and diners would have to walk further to the beach area where the food court is located.
It is clean, brightly lit and the seating arrangements are either in the open air area or the inner covered food court.
