The latest shopping mall in Klang Valley opened last week.
I was there specifically for the Sephora outlet launch and wow, there was a queue outside since morning.
The store is open to public at 3.30pm but these Sephora fans are eager to snap up the early bird vouchers. That’s understandable as Sephora was giving away complimentary RM100 gift vouchers for 1st 50 fans & RM50 gift vouchers for the next 150 fans!

From a simple hawker stall at the entrance of Penang Botanical Gardens, this chapatti and curry business has morphed into a full fledge eatery with numerous stalls selling burgers to nasi kandar and fried rice/noodles, all managed by the same owner. This “proper” roofed eatery began business in 2010.
For over 3 generations his family had fed the young and old but mostly hungry after their exercise from the hill and the gardens
I’ve known about Garam Haram for some time now as Juan Lyn, the founder has posted about it on her social sites quite a bit.
I finally got to grab a few bottles recently and I was excited to try cooking with it.

I was assigned for a story for the Laureus World Sports Awards 2014.
Based on the feedback on my instagram, FB, FB page and tweets, it seems that the highlight of the event wasn’t so much the sports event, the awards or the sport personalities but the host himself – Benedict Cumberbatch!

As a Chinese halal roast meats were never a concern for me.
In fact when Roast Kitchen in TTDI first opened, I had even thought that the business wouldn’t last. I mean, what’s roast meat with char siew (BBQ pork) and siew yok (roasted pork belly)?
Now in their 3rd year of operations, I have obviously been proven wrong. And thankfully so.
