So many questions and so many versions of the story had circulated since 2014 when Aunty Lee took ill and the restaurant was closed for a while.

As someone who is obsessed about Nyonya food (try following my 14 nyonya restaurants eating adventures in MELAKA HERE and you will know what I mean), I daresay that I have a good idea of how a great Nyonya meal should be like.
That said, I understand that there are variations in recipes in every Nyonya family, as with every proclaimed Nyonya restaurant in town.
While I can confidently recommend a good Baba Nyonya restaurant in Melaka, my Klang Valley list is fewer.
Baba Nyonya by Sambal Chilli was a recent discovery for me.
Atria @ DJ was their first outlet while the recently launched Avenue K outlet is a fresh, beautiful, artsy place that I just love to hang out at – if it wasn’t so far from home!

No more dry eyes, no more panic attacks when my contacts dropped out halfway through the day and no more worries during swimming or contact sport like muay thai.
I woke up at 5 am one morning, all ready to start my yoga but found myself curled up into a ball with an acute and unexplainable stomach pain.
I was then admitted to the hospital for an ultrasound.
It was an eye-opening affair for me and definitely not the pleasant kind. I am such a diligent person when it comes to fitness, healthy eating and general wellness.
Imagine the shock I had when I could only groan and roll back into bed with the pain intensifying with no signs of subsiding.
It was definitely a terrible feeling!

I’ve been a fan of Victoria Crest Lamb and Cranberry sausages for a few years.
Recently I got to know about their revolutionary Chicken Streaky, a new creation that is made from pure chicken breast which makes it a great low fat and high protein snack.
The best part? It is convenient to consume as it is already tasty. No added seasoning is required and to cook it involves simple stir-frying (without oil if you’re using a non-stick) or simply chucking it into the oven for a few minutes.
