I would have thought I’ll be a certified baker, a Le Cordon Bleu chef or even an acclaimed food critic (disclaimer: ok, all these are ‘syiok-sendiri’ dreams) before I would be certified anywhere near as “an alcoholic”.

Instead, last week I got myself certified a drunkard as a haughty vodka-sipping connoisseur, right after I swallowed 9 different types of vodka & sat through an educational but surprisingly entertaining 3 hours with Mr Matthew Pomeroy, Brand Ambassador of Absolut.

Lebanon. How many of us know much about this country?

And Lebanese wines??
Lebanese food yes, but Lebanese wines may not be entirely familiar territory to most.

It has been an interesting first quarter of 2011 for me; both experience & certainly culinary -wise.
Fresh off guzzling wines in vineyards in Yarra Valley, Victoria Australia; I recently had my first sip of South African wines from the La Motte Vineyards . Argentinian wines was another memorable discovery during the MALBEC day a few weeks back (blog post pending).

And just last month I was privileged enough to dine at Al Amar, Pavilion KL for their exclusive wine tasting dinner, featuring wines from the respected Chateau Musar vineyards.

Weekends are made for self pampering. Or I rather hope so. My weekends been hectic lately but thanks to Jess, I got some hand pampering time at the Starhill’s An Awakening of the Five Senses event just last weekend.

DC Comics Super Heroes – Pavilion Kuala Lumpur:
School’s Out, Adventure’s In – 27th May – 12 June 2011!

I’m staying at the JW Marriot Hotel KL since last Friday til this coming Mon. So Pavilion is literally a stone’s throw away. Brunch today was at Tonkatsu (review later ) & I foresee a lot of Pavilion – visiting over this weekend!

Anyhow, there was a commotion going on as I walked in to Pavilion. Curious, I followed the booming sounds & saw this.

A DC Comics Super Heroes exhibition from now til 12th of June 2011 cos of the school holidays!

I took a quick pic and tweeted it for fun.

And the replies on twitter surprised me. Wow, there’s quite a number of comic fans out there. So many enquired about the time, where, the duration of this exhibition & etc.
So here’s is it. All the info you may need.

Live shows daily at 1pm & 5pm on weekends, while weekdays it’s 3pm & 7pm.
I watched the show for while just now & it is pretty realistic with actual actors dressed in action figures costumes! (Sorry was so engrossed I didn’t take any pics, that’s how entertaining it was ;p)
