Nikon Corporation has announced the release of the Nikon D4, a Nikon FX-format camera that serves as the new flagship model in Nikon’s lineup of digital-SLR cameras.
Hahah, cute yes? Don’t worry. The actual size is not this of course!
This is actually a thumbdrive that was in our goody bags.
I thought it looked big at first, but it fits into my Aspire S3 nicely without any issues.
We KL-ites are spoilt.
Free flow, by -invites parties in KL are almost a weekly affair currently; with the likes of Johnny Walker, Moet Hennessy Diageo, Carlsberg, GAB and so forth throwing bash after bash.
Like fabulous food, I’m of opinion that fabulous parties are few and numbered.

A thoroughly brilliant concept was launched at the Ritz Carlton KL for Chinese New Year this 2012.
And deservingly, it was launched with much aplomb, featuring a full lion dance performance followed by an imperial spread by Ritz’s accomplished banquent team.
As usual, preceding the festive seasons, I have commenced my rounds of Chinese New Year menu reviews as early as last month. I’m certain I have much prosperity coming in, since I have “lou sang” god knows how many times. Hahah.. 🙂

Loyal readers of my blog would have realized that I seldom, if ever at all, blog about steamboats.
Well, I’m just not a fan of soup-based meals.
And steamboats are to me, a messy and ardous affair. I’m not one of those who enjoys the “cook as you eat” or “cook-your-own” meal ala Pepper Lunch sort.
If I’m out for a meal, please serve me my order piping hot and all ready for me to tuck in, thank you very much. Besides, I’m an impatient person so I always ended up eating half-cooked fishballs during steamboats as I dug them out before they are thoroughly cooked. :p
Also, steamboat meals are of prolonged periods since it’s not possible to just chow down your one-portion dish and leave immediately after. Portion controls are difficult too as the trend for steamboat meals now are eat-all-you-can buffets or sets meals for a minimum of 2 pax.
Having said that, a steamboat meal is best savoured with a group of friends, gossiping over the bubbling pot and sipping the soup after an hour or so of cooking. The soup is much tastier and richer after having all the ingredients thrown in for the last hour.

Many usher the new year with resolutions, reflections, wild parties, sumptuous food, and of course, the company of intimate friends and family.

This year, I thought Chinese New Year is rather uncomfortably close to Christmas (less than a month really), and while my Christmas goodies at home remained unwrapped, I’m already propelled forward on the yee sang tossing rounds!
An enterprising friend recently opened her own little natural skincare products outlet at The Mines Shopping Centre.
Naturally (pun intended) I had to check out this range of “natural” skincare products, since I’m a big fan of all things healthy and organic. However, I missed the launch as I was nursing a fever that day but Belle kindly passed me my goody bag anyway.
