I been slowly but surely switching over to method products for my household needs.
After the pleasant bathroom cleaning experience (can any house-cleaning be pleasant? You bet!) I moved on to the kitchen, another area that gives me more headache then I care to share.
Ok, I finally managed to add another steakhouse to my ‘highly recommended list’.
I’m fussy about my meats and so far Qba Latin Bar and Grill had not disappoint. However, it is pricey for the average income earner and may be better suited for memorable occasions where candle lights and sleek dressing are warranted (though not necessary). Still, within this month of October, do take advantage of the RM190++ MIGF menu for frankly, as it is truly value for money.

QBA became my favourite steak joint during the time I had my Starwood Privilege Card and is still is today. I go around eating steaks a lot (that and burgers) and admittedly, I can be fussy with my meats.
Though expensive, Qba had never disappointed me even after numerous visits. There were parts of the meals that wasn’t 100% to my liking, but overall it was never entirely bad.
To date, I had sampled almost 70% of the ala-carte menu, which means I need a reason to re-visit. I was itching for something new, an excuse to dine at Qba again. And thus the MIGF was just timely.
The menu last year deserves a solid ‘A’ for taste, presentation and value. Happily enough, Chef Pearl surpassed expectations again this time. This year’s MIGF menu was both surprising in terms of creativity and flavours.
From the start, the trio (have I said I love having variety on a plate?) of shrimp, chicken and corn chips – crunchy chips, sweet zesty tomatoes and the smoky BBQ sauce worked the digestive juices into overdrive in anticipation of the evening ahead.

Chili Con Carne, Corn Chips, Sauteed Shrimp with Spicy Tomato Sauce, Smoked Chipotle Chicken with Orange Barbeque Sauce.
The annual Norwegian Seafood Gala Dinner. It was everything I’ve heard, read and seen about and more. I might have been invited to many events in my capacity as a blogger, but this Norwegian Seafood Gala Dinner was always one that I have read in awe and feasted only with my eyes, and only online.
The Grill 582 at BEST WESTERN PREMIER Dua Sentral aims to be the place to come for prime cuts of meat and straight-out-of-the-ocean-fresh seafood. After my MIGF dinner here tonight, I think there’s still room for improvement for the kitchen team.

Anyone who had stepped in here would have be stimulated with the colors, the pulsating energy and the vibe of the hotel.
Furnishings, lighting, decors, colors and novel use of space . It isn’t anything like any other conventional hotel.
A French place barely 10 minutes walk from my home had been in business for a while now and I had been uninterested until my big bro posted a picture on FB giving it his approval.
Now, if he approves, the place is worth checking out for sure. On the evening of my visit, I bumped into a another friend who in turn bought me dinner that night.
The KL Restaurant Week allowed me to discover or rather, got me off my procrastinating behind to try out some outlets that I wouldn’t have bothered otherwise.
Two such restaurants were the Midi 57 and here at DV Ristorante.
