CooperVision #ISeeLove contest

I’m on hunt to for new contact lens. It’s either the contact lens I have been using or it’s the screen size of my ultrabook monitor – 11″ that’s making me dizzy, tired out and blurry eyed these days.
I have been using my 11″ Asus Primebook for sometime now, but it was rather recent that I noticed such discomfort. I have dailies and monthlies (contact lens) stocked so I have tried both, even changing them before its replacement due dates but the problem persisted.

I do acknowledge that my case may be unique, as I’m awake for long hours and I wear my contacts for as long as I’m awake. However it had not bothered me til recently. Well, other than getting my eye checked, I’ve decided to switch contact lens brand for a time being. Unfortunately, having been such a long contact lens user, I have tried all the brands in the market.

A friend of mine from Singapore had recently recommended CooperVision. I have never heard of it and the reason why he told me about it was because of its current themed contest running where every month there would a winner chosen based on his/her best picture that depicts the theme.

Hair Makeover by The Met Salon, KL

This year I have vowed to make some changes. Some sort of new year resolution. While I have never made any over the years (cos I’m a firm believer of making change anytime it suits me and it’s never about the time of the year), I had thought it would be timely to begin what I had in mind at the start of 2013.

My gym and fitness regime does what it’s supposed to do; keep me slim though I eat too much for my own good, but it still falls short of satisfaction as I have yet to achieve anything more than just maintaining my weight. But more on that later.

I have successfully embarked on a new skincare regime and now I can proudly proclaim that I cleanse, tone and moisturize twice a day. Yes, that’s an achievement considering the fact that I barely do that for 3 decades. More on the products I’ve been using – The Obagi range from Japan, bought from http://www.facebook.com/cliqueclinic by the end of the month.

HK Station at Sg Wang – Free a trip for 2 to Hong Kong!

Hello hello and Merry Xmas all! :DD

merry xmas 2012 - rebecca saw

How has your year-end been?
Clearing leaves, going for holidays, spending time with the family? I don’t know about you, but I certainly do not need the year end period to crave for a holiday.

I want to be able to go for holidays every month but that’s not be very realistic (unless you’re a billionaire) knowing budget, time and the usual constraints of other commitments.
But having a free return flight ticket helps! Remember how Tony gave me a return flight ticket to Japan?

Talika Lipocils and Black – the secret to long lashes?

I’m about the laziest girl you could ever meet when it comes to make-up and skin care. Recently I have made efforts to take better care of my skin and I have been diligently using Shiseido White Lucent Intensive Spot Targeting Serum+ for my skincare routine.
In the recent 1 year or so, I was hardly ever seen without my fake eyelashes. Both the Shiseido serum & fake lashes were about all l I have done for the sake of looking good. Oh, other than my gym routines of which I’m a very dedicated gym bunny.

I seriously wish I can transfer the same dedication to my make-up/skincare routine. To be honest, sticking on the lashes each morning is a pain. I have mastered the technique and now takes no longer than 20 secs max for both eyes. But still, if only I don’t have to do so! If only I have natural think long lashes that I can just go out without having to put the fake ones on!
The fake lashes cost money and spoils instantly upon contact with water; meaning no getting caught in rain or swimming with them on.  Also, I have to carry the eyelash glue with me wherever I go, just in case the eyelash falls off or got loose. The glue also melts if it’s a very hot day, leaving an annoying sticky film on my eyelids. Needless to say, the eyelash doesn’t stay on long if the glue melts.

At the end of each day, when I take them off, I have to rub my eyelids to get off the glue residue from my eyelids. I could use a make-up remover but it will still be slightly sticky.

Day 7: Peninsula Hot Springs @Mornington Peninsular – Victoria, Australia

Peninsula Hot Springs is the first natural hot springs & day spa centre in Victoria; around 1.5Hrs from Melbourne. Natural thermal mineral waters flow into the pools & private baths, providing the idyllic setting for relaxation and rejuvenation.

I was here on the 7th day of my Aussie adventure, and trust me, by then I truly needed a soak plus pampering time. As I have mentioned before, the trip was fun yes, but incredibly tiring due the the packed schedule.

Bizzy Body Malaysia, The Slimming Expert – Preso Therapy & Slimming Therapy

I get comments like “How do you eat so much & stay slim?” everyday, at every meal with almost anyone.

The Goliath Burger Challenge @ The Frame-1

My usual answer is simple – controlled portions, eat only when I’m hungry, less intake at night & burn what you put in, so meaning exercise!

However, I’m not without faults (or rather faults I see in myself), though most people tell me otherwise. I would like to have spot reduction done on some areas if possible, & luckily enough for me, the opportunity presented itself when I was contacted by Bizzy Body Malaysia for a Bloggers’ Day Out at their Sunway Pyramid outlet.
