I’ve been busy lately. So much so that I haven’t been able to update my blog as much as I would like to.
Lately I’ve ran out of things to blog about too. That’s not quite possible actually, but due to the lack of time I haven’t been able to put things (my mind) together to string proper sentences. Sigh.
After 2 visits to this nice restaurant, I’m really looking forward to the launch of their upcoming Thurs – Sat supperclub.
I have always had high regards for Chef Johnny Fua and Sherson Lian. Both are one of the few local chefs that I truly respect. One is rather temperamental and cheeky while the other is endearing and cheeky.
I’ll leave it to you to figure out which is which 🙂
My previous dining experiences by Chef Johnny were at Upper Deck at GTower and another time during the launch of the Great Dinners of The World. After that I was honoured to be a guest of the Great Dinners of the World Appreciation Party where I met all 4 chefs again and had a superb dinner.
In my last post I wrote of my starting journey from KL, and my quick breakfast of McDonalds Chicken Muffin. The XC60 was nice and the roomy boot space was much appreciated. Volvo Malaysia has selected this model for me when I said I was driving down to Terengganu; saying it was suitable for long distance rides and of course, plenty of boot space. 
However, as the 5 hours journey progressed I started to wonder if the Volvo XC60 was really an ideal choice. Saying that the suspension is stiff was putting it mildly. I literally felt every bump, rock and undulation on the road for a good 3 hours. I comtemplated between taking more breaks to relax and sooth my headache; or just brave the long drive ahead and get to Tanjong Jara as soon as possible.

I remembered my first visit to SFS in Aug09, & the 50mins wait that followed our order, even though it was only 1130am. We appeased part of our hunger with this; dry pan mee which was not the least memorable. I almost changed my mind about the pan mee when my wan tan mee finally arrived.
