Awaken from my slumber as early as 4.30am (Gold Coast time) I would open the balcony doors of my 22nd floor and gaze out to the beach.
The wind carries the sounds of waves and the scent of the sea right where to where I am, heavy-lidded and languorous on my Sofitel MyBed, contemplating my next move.
Back to sleep? Some writing? Check my emails? Change and head out to the beach?
Gosh, choices, choices, choices.
It’s that season for Christmas gifts again!
Well, not all gifts has to be expensive.
On my end I rounded up a few local entrepreneurs who are interested to collaborate for my Santa X’mas sack – named such because it is a sack instead of a useless basket wrapped with biodegradable plastic.
You can use this sack to keep your laundry, shoes/heels, sport shoes to gym, whatever you would use a sack/bag for!
In fact, it looks better than a plastic hamper no? 🙂

So how has the last month of 2014 been for you?
I read this quote on Instagram (shared by a fellow Instagrammer) and I really liked it – “You have one month to finish the book of 2014. Make the last chapter a perfect one!“.
And I intend to make the most of December 2014.
It has been long year; with the usual ups and downs, more so when you run a few businesses and being in the public eye.
Sometimes I get question like ” What do you do actually?”
26 days to 2015.
NY resolutions doesn’t apply to me. I aim to be at my best at all times, anytime, never only at certain times of the year.
However, in prep for coming year, I’ll like to take some time to polish myself up a bit more!
1st up, the hair.
It’s been 2 years, and my trusted stylist, Centro Hair Salon; still knows best what works for me.
My hair has always been under the care of Kevin Woo, founder of Centro Hair Salon other than one exception when Han, one of the best Sr. Stylist in Centro trimmed my locks .
My day in Singapore got off to a great start today. 🙂
It was my first time stepping into Sofitel So Singapore and I certainly wasn’t prepared for this elegant blend of city modernity and classic French refinement.
As I strolled into the lobby I felt the understated sophistication instantly; but gladly it wasn’t the stuffy kind, but instead a warm, comforting kind of welcome.
Some hotels achieve grandeur with sombre colours and ornate furniture while others throw splashes of colours everywhere. Sofitel So straddles the balance between colours, glitters and metal nicely, creating a one-of-a-kind ambiance that stay imprinted in your mind for a long while.
