I admit.
I’m impressed.
The spread at The Westin delivers both in taste and choice.
I was there 2 years back and while the spread was fantastic, some of the food didn’t quite impress. This year, I almost enjoyed everything, especially so the DESSERTS.
This “dessert room” is like a child’s dream come true.
Year after year I devour my way through 15 – 20 Ramadan buffets. I’m well aware of the abundance of food and the festive air.
On the other hand, I’m just as keenly aware of its subsequent wastage.

It seems that my life is Volkswagen-fied recently. The Beetle was sometime back (you can read about it HERE) and the CKD Passat was just 3 weeks ago.
I have to be thankful that I somewhat got myself familiarize with the VW family after driving the Passat.
At least when I was behind the wheel for the Tiguan, I had better confidence as some of the functions are similar.
And by some stroke of luck I was partnered with Greg Yang, an old friend and he was understandably patient.

Well I haven’t sampled many as I didn’t have much time; but I remembered that I was at The Loaf recently and the launch of their new Asian cuisines menu was worth checking out!
The Loaf’s Ramadan set is a reasonable price of RM19.90 and you can choose from Ayam Percik, Rendang Jawa or Nasi Goreng Kampung.
I didn’t try the set per se but prior to Ramadan I was at The Loaf to sample the Asian menu and overall I find the offerings well executed.
Following up from my previous post on Country Kitchen in TTDI, here’s another for the Muslims (obviously non-Muslims are most welcome as well) in Damansara Perdana.
A shoplot restaurant nested in Damansara Perdana business center, Mohammad Chow dishes out really good Chinese cuisine in a clean and comfortable environment.

Well, it is the Ramadan month and the “license‘ to feast is on everyone’s mind (though that isn’t in “compliance” with the Islam religion). I’m just doing “my part” in letting you know your options! 😀
Anyhow if a sit-down, cooked-to-order-meal is more your thing, I’ll like to suggest some Chinese Muslim restaurants to you. I have blogged about Dong Yi Shun but the outlet has decided to close for Ramadan!
Fret not, there is Country Kitchen in TTDI.
One of the more popular buka puasa buffet in PJ area is the Cinnamon Coffee House in One World Hotel.
