Christmas day started a tad shaky, with me up early after a rather late night. Not late night out partying mind you, but it was a night spent curled up with a good book and fabulous froyo.
Any bookworm can tell you it’s hard to put down a good book. But I kind of regretted it the very next morning waking up nursing a headache. LOL.

It took me 3 hours to find this place. 3 hours on MRT, bus and foot.
I was fuming pissed, hungry and worn beyond words by the time I stepped into the outlet.

How has your year-end been?
Clearing leaves, going for holidays, spending time with the family? I don’t know about you, but I certainly do not need the year end period to crave for a holiday.
I want to be able to go for holidays every month but that’s not be very realistic (unless you’re a billionaire) knowing budget, time and the usual constraints of other commitments.
But having a free return flight ticket helps! Remember how Tony gave me a return flight ticket to Japan?
For all the hype on Dean & Delucca, my virginal visit was outright disappointing.
I dropped in for a quick bite as I have another dinner later that evening in Orchard Central but when I saw the pastries and the food display I couldn’t resist going for a burger. There were only 2 options, and I chose the Wagyu Portobello mushroom burger as it sounded really tantalizing based on the description.

I’m not particularly fond of queuing for my food.
But I do make exceptions if the situation warrants it. Such situations includes uniquely fabulous food, revered chefs dinners and money-can’t-buy once in a lifetime opportunity meals. Ippudo Ramen falls into the obvious category of fabulous food.

For those who find HP Towers on Jalan Gelanggang a challenge to get to on weekdays (like me) the Swich outlet in Publika is due to open pretty soon.
The better news than that? Swich cakes are already available for your consumption pleasure, with a small stall right in front of Sushi Q in Publika starting 2 Mondays ago.

I have always loved Asus products and the first Padfone did seems promising. Launched in early July, the ability to have both phone and tablet in one device was exciting then. I believe ASUS’ innovative differentiation did set it apart from its competitors.
Now barely 6 months later, Asus has launched the Padfone 2.
While the first one has a cover for the phone at the back of the tablet and an impressive battery life, etc, the improved Padfone 2 boasts even longer battery life and an easy slot in mechanism. Bonus, it comes in WHITE too!
