Printer launches are just another event. Trust me, I attended many.
But HP Ink Advantage Launch 2012 was something else. A rather brilliant collaboration with the unconventional yet talented artist Red Hong Yi, HP’s latest Ink Advantage campaign’s message of “Print More, Pay Less and Risk Nothing” was delivered across effectively via the astounding artwork by artist Red Hong Yi.
The obsession with Monster earphones was one I never could understand. RM1XXX ++ for a pair of earphones? Like really??

However, the Monster’s highly-anticipated 2012 collection line-up officially launch last week served to explain the worldwide fixation on these earphones/headphones. The launch last week saw the Inspiration, Diamond Tears and Diesel range revealed to the world/Malaysia and even I got all itchy hands to purchase one for myself!
When I participated in the Sharp 100th Anniversary’s campaign earlier, I did a little research on the brand and found out that Sharp manufactures; among other things, phones! It was only a few months back that I asked myself – “Hmm… interesting. How come no Sharp phones in Malaysia?“.
And voila, just this week, I was invited to the launch of the 1st Sharp smartphone in Malaysia!
Of course at this stage I won’t be able to advise you to buy this Sharp phone or otherwise. I do however have the price – it’s selling at RM1288 and is already available at Harvey Norman, among other IT/electronic stores.
Just 2 weeks ago I got a new phone!
Well, it’s an android. And it’s pretty affordable at RM699.00 for a phone of its capability.
It is primarily my colleagues’ workphone for company use and works marvelously as a backup for all of us. So far both of them (original phones iPhone and a Samsung S3) had no complains.
We kept our expectations fair of course. 🙂
We had our very own superhero appearance yesterday during the launch of Ricoh Malaysia‘s latest compact and monochrome laser printers.
The drama got a little heavy and supergirl (I’m not sure who’s she’s supposed to be) had to hide her face. :DD
Last week, Sony Mobile introduced its lineup of Xperia NXT smartphones.
The Xperia S (above) is at the high-end of the product suite, while the Xperia P and Xperia U fills Sony Mobile’s offering in the mid and lower-end of Google Android smartphones.
So here’s the continuation of my Asus Transformer Prime review, with my previous thoughts HERE where I have touched on the physical aspect of the tablet in terms of it’s looks, size and weight.
Now I’m just going to compact my review into a table, answering all questions that I have got since I had the tablet. I have used it in meetings, bought it out with me to events and hang out at cafes with it.
The Olympus OM-D E-M5 (don’t ask why the naming is so complicated ok, let’s just call it OM-D shall we?) was launched last week and I sat through a very interesting presentation by the Olympus team in Malaysia.
For one that swears by Micro Four Thirds cameras, I’m naturally interested to find out more on any new models launched in the market.
