For those seeking halal/pork-free dim sum in PJ, Zuan Yuan at One World Hotel could be a worthy consideration.
I’ve not sampled all the items on the menu, but it’s suffice to say that the ones I had gave a good indication of the dim sum chef’s skills.
One of the more popular buka puasa buffet in PJ area is the Cinnamon Coffee House in One World Hotel.

My Taiwan trip was just end of June this year and just like the hordes of tourists around the world that visited Taiwan, I love its cuisine!
From the conventional of noodles and rice to the spare parts of the cow to the notorious stinky tofu, I ate them all.

It’s the Mid-Autumn Festival or Mooncake Festival again!
The Mid Autumn Festival which falls on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month is one of the important festivals observed by Chinese all over the world. There’s a folklore about how mooncake came about and the legend is easily “googled” if you’re interested. 🙂
For me, the Mid Autumn Festival is about eating mooncakes. 🙂

I visit Cinnamon Coffee House quite regularly. The proximity of it to my office and home plays a part and so does dealing with the wonderful people from One World Hotel.
Over time and many visits I realized that while the variety improved; some stations remained a hit and miss. The spread however, offers good value for money and One World’s Cinnamon Coffee House has always been renowned for the fantastic and diversified selection.
Here’s a video I did last year for their Ramadhan buffet.
So I’m done with turkeys, gingerbread man and stollens.
And here I am, starting the year feasting (what else eh? :p) on MORE food!
This year, I thought Chinese New Year is rather uncomfortably close to Christmas (less than a month really), and while my Christmas goodies at home remained unwrapped, I’m already propelled forward on the yee sang tossing rounds!
A selection of Teochew dishes has been specially prepared by Zuan Yuan’s Chinese Master Chef Michael Chew throughout the month of November 2011 for lunch and dinner.
I have read previous reviews on Cinnamon Cafe’s Ramadan Buffet last year & was suitably impressed.
In fact, it has left such an impression on me that I had always wanted to sample it myself.
The opportunity presented itself this year, when I was invited to sample the spread with some friends. I even got one of the bloggers to help me record a video (which will be uploaded soon!) of the marvellous spread here.
No Ramadan buffet above the price of RM60 should be without LAMB.

As the spread is the widest I have been so far, even more than Latest Recipe at Le Meridien and The Living Room, Westin KL, I will keep my description concise & let the pics do the talking.
