I woke up at the ungodly hour of 4am to finish packing (read: rushing and dumping everything I think I may need into my luggage) before the start of the journey to Tg Jara Resort in Kuala Dungun, Terengganu.

Below: Laptop bag, camera, tripods for the camera, clothes, some books….all into the boot of the Volvo XC60.

I was anticipating a LONGGGG ride, since it was supposedly a minimum 5 hours ride from KL. I started my journey as early as I could, since I was leaving KL on a Monday morning, and getting stuck in traffic prior to a get-away is not my idea of fun.

F1 Red Bull Racing Sebastien Buemi Interview at Infiniti Center, Chulan Square

Last week was everything F1. Visiting the F1 Paddock was certainly the highlight of my week!

Though I was down with flu and was slightly feverish (I blame it on the F1 🙂 ), I diligently followed the F1 parties, drivers interviews, the news and of course, the races.
One of F1 driver that I got to meet upclose & personal was Sebastien Buemi. Despite his schedule, Sebastien was really friendly and accommodating, taking on questions from the media tirelessly, posing for shots after shots and signing autographs for everyone.

I’m on my way to the F1 Paddock Club in Sepang now!

Naturally I’m excited and I wonder how’s it going to be. I do know I’m provided ear plugs & free flow bubbly (or something like that). 😀

I hope there’s internet connectivity as I do want to upload pictures to share. Here’s what I have for now!

Honda Malaysia Launches the All-New Jazz Hybrid

Capitalizing on the Honda Jazz’s popularity and the current public interest in Hybrid cars, Honda Malaysia unveiled the All-New Honda Jazz Hybrid, adding yet another model to its family of hybrid cars in Malaysia.

The hatchback, which features Honda’s Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) hybrid system under its hood retained all the practicality and spaciousness of the Jazz.
In layman terms, it’s the same la, but different engine. 🙂
It’s powered by similar technology, engine ( 1.3-litre ) and motor as the Honda Insight.

Honda Insight New Edition 2012 – Before and Now – Pictures

On 29th February, Honda Malaysia Sdn. Bhd introduced the bolder and more futuristic looking Insight.
I got the update via email, and reading through the press release, I thought seeing the upgrades for myself at a Honda Showroom and taking some pictures to share on my post will depict the differences better.

As you would have probably realized by now, I’m a strong advocate of original content, and totally despise blogging from a press release.
Slotting in a visit to the showroom with my schedule was challenging, but worth it! The new Honda Insight certainly caught my attention. The term futuristic was aptly applied here, as it certainly looks the part.

Land Rover Malaysia – new Flagship Facility & the Range Rover Evoque!

Land Rover Malaysia, best known for its 4X4, has relocated its flagship 3S centre from Section 13 to a spanking new outlet in Jalan 219, Petaling Jaya. 2 more showrooms in Johor and Penang are in the works as well.

Obviously the new 44,000 sq ft facility, which is situated along the Federal Highway, and beside other prominent car brands’ showrooms is expected to significantly enhance the brand’s visibility and market presence.

For this installment, we were done with the move (like finally!) and since we were too tired to drive it out far ( I was aiming for Melaka or Ipoh actually), we thought we would reward ourselves with a trip to the famed Semenyih Fish Valley Restaurant at Sri Haneco Industrial Park, Jalan Kachau.

Haneco what???
Yes, that was my reaction as well when my friend forwarded the address to me.
Oh well, we figured that even if we got lost, at least we got lost in a Volvo! :DD
